We as HVM found ourselves extremely involved in many exciting activities leading into the end of the year, from sponsored events to our annual team-building. The perfect way to end another year of excellent service!

HVM sponsored another successful golf day at Strand Golf Club, this time in support of De Hoop Primary School’s 25th annual golf day on the fifth of November 2021. The HVM golf team was led by our very own Nirvard Alberts and they did not disappoint. The competition and weather allowed an incredible day of golf.
Dit is weer daardie tyd van die jaar waar ons afskeid neem van een van die HVM-familie se senior klerke. Karli Truter is aan die einde van haar klerkskap en begin haar volgende avontuur in Durban aanpak. Sy het ‘n geweldige impak gemaak op die eerste jaar klerke en sy het diep spore getrap hier by HVM. Dit was ‘n voorreg om haar hier te hê en ons hoop dat sy groot sukses sal behaal as ‘n toekomstige Professionele Rekenmeester (S.A.).
HVM was vanjaar weer ʼn trotse borg van De Hoop Laerskool se tennisspanne. Een van die vele hoogtepunte sluit in die eerste seuns tennisspan wat die Wes-Kaap Uitdun-Rondte van die BNB Paribus RCS Rising Star Nasionale Tennistoernooi op 17 September gewen het en later 4de in die land geëindig het tydens dieselfde toernooi se finaal in Johannesburg.
HVM was at the U9 tennis Fun Day on the second of December 2021. It was indeed a fun filled day and students from De Hoop Primary, Somerset College, Beumont Primary and Lochnerhof Primary and others attended. The smiles and energy throughout the day were endless and made HVM proud to be the sponsor of this event. Our director, Vermeulen Badenhorst, was in attendance, supporting and encouraging the young tennis players.
HVM en OnPoint Consult had their annual teambuilding event together and we decided to play some laser tag at the Helderberg farm. We split into two teams, blue and red. The competition was fierce, and the red team pulled ahead and had an overall victory for the day. Congratulations red team!
Afterwards, when we were all too tired to run around in the bushes, we played some Mexican Stand off and Jan-Hendrik took the gold in an undefeated victory against the other HVM and OnPoint staff. He even beat the instructor! Congratulations Jan-Hendrik.
Afterwards we enjoyed a meal at Eikendal and made peace with each other after a competitive battle for victory.
We at HVM wish our clients and their families the best over the festive season and hope that the new year brings good things for everyone. We look forward to the new year and working with our clients in 2022!
