Kan julle glo, dit voel asof ons net nou die dag ons voorbereiding en uitdagings vir 2017 beplan het en nou is dit weer tyd om die Kersversierings uit te pak en alles te laat skitter. Die mans begin beplan watter ‘DIY’ projekte hulle gaan aanpak oor die vakansie, wat nog heel jaar eenkant toe geskuif is en die vrouens besin oor alles wat die gesin moet inpak vir die vakansie en kosreëlings met familie.
At the GMN Africa Conference held during October in Mauritius, Vermeulen Badenhorst, was elected as part of the GMN Africa EXCON Committee for the next 2 years. HVM trust that this will be valuable experience gained with our other African colleagues.
The 4th quarter is that time of the year where everyone tries to finalize as much work as possible in hopes of lightening the burden for the upcoming New Year. What better way is there to be productive, than having a tightly knit team who supports one another. One might think HVM can only cook up the numbers, but you’d be surprised what can happen when you let them have a go in a fully stocked kitchen.
We had our annual team building exercise at Food Jams in Woodstock. From baking bread, making basil pesto, gourmet salads, tuna tortillas and ending with marshmallow infused poached pears.
It is safe to say no one left with an empty stomach but rather a smile on their faces. We were truly stunned and impressed with how well everyone chopped, diced and baked. Bonding with colleagues out of the office environment is always a pleasure and a privilege.

With the gazebo pitched, teardrops raised and beer in hand, provided by one of our clients, The Italian Job Brewery, HVM sponsored the 10th hole at the annual De Hoop’s Primary Golf Day.
To keep things interesting we provided the opportunity to win great prizes by guessing the amount of tees inside a glass container.
The weather couldn’t stop the excitement or damper the spirit of everyone involved. Yet another successful day we are proud to be associated with.
